Born and raised on Long Island, I've always kept myself busy doing creative things, either building creations with legos, writing crazy short stories, or drawing odd characters. Many of my interests include tattoos, history, mythology, classic roadsters, sci-fi & fantasy, anything vintage, and heavy music. Being an artist, not only can I appreciate the world around me with a unique view but also express that view successfully through my sporadic vision.
I have degrees in both Graphic Design and Computer Animation, and currently work as a professional graphic/web artist. I started doing freelance work around 2000, when I was a student at Briarcliffe and I gained a whole new set of skills during my time at Full Sail. My portfolio ranges from flyers and logo design to website design. I also provide vocals for the band Thracian. Some of my inspirations include Gustave Dore, Albrecht Durer, Yoji Shinkawa, Frank Frazetta, Jacob Bannon, Frank Miller, Pushead, Derek Hess, H.R. Giger and more.
One of the main focuses of my artwork revolves around my love of Rorschach tests, I've always had a fascination with them. A single inkblot could be interpreted in so many different ways purely based on the mind perceiving it. That is the feeling I look to express in all of my work...
As well as being a graphic artist, I also write for the music blog, Heavy Blog Is Heavy, providing latest news/updates and album reviews pertaining to the world of heavy music.
